France saw an uprising mass in the wave of
revolutions in 1848. This mass uprising happened because of the hunger that the
people saw and the differences between classes. Only rich people and the
government do what they want. There was also an element of crisis that happened
in Europe which led to the revolutions. The leaders of this revolution were Louis
Auguste Blanqui, Armand Barbès, and François Vincent Raspail. They were later
arrested by the king. There was violence coming from the soldiers towards the
protestors. They were firing their weapons and caused some serious injuries. A
large part of the population participated in this revolution except for the
nobles.
Lacks detail and depth for a 50 mark question.
